The website Number Guesser was initially developed as a two-hour timed assignment. Even though the functionality was complete, I spent some free time after the project giving it a front end overhall. The overhall was designed with the intention of evoking the feel of classic arcade games like Pac-Man or Galaga. A user leaderboard was created as an after-the-fact functionality to strengthen the impression that this is an old arcade game and give the user more reason to play and compete with others.
